Weekend bootcamps: Saturday and Sunday, 3 hours each

Four short sprints a day with breaks: learn, practise, a hands-on lab, then a quiz and gap check. Every student leaves with the slides, a lab pack at three levels, model answers, a badge and a certificate.

Filter by focus

Bootcamps usually run in school holidays, so they never clash with weekly classes. Groups stay at 12 students at most. Fee per bootcamp: [FEE PER BOOTCAMP].

What a weekend looks like

Saturday you see it. Sunday you build it.

Saturday · 1 hour

See it

A story, a picture and a live demo. Every idea is shown visually before any code, using apps students already know.

Sunday · 1 hour

Build it

A hands-on lab at Bronze, Silver and Gold level, so everyone succeeds and strong students are stretched. Builders also get a weekly GCSE Exam Corner.

Questions parents ask

Good to know

Getting started

My child has never coded. Is that a problem?

No. Every block starts with a short recap, and every lab has a Bronze task everyone finishes. A quick placement chat makes sure your child starts in the right pillar.

What equipment do we need?

A laptop or Chromebook with a keyboard, a headset or earphones with a microphone, and a stable internet connection. All software is free.

Can we join part-way through the year?

Yes. New students join at the start of any half-term block, and catch-up packs cover anything important they missed.

During the course

What happens if we miss a session?

Slides, starter files and a short recap video are shared the same day, and the lab can be done during the week.

Are sessions recorded?

Only with your consent. Recordings are kept securely for 30 days, and parents may drop in to any session.

Exams and progression

Which exam boards do you cover?

GCSE and A-Level topics are mapped to AQA and OCR. Students taking Edexcel or Eduqas share most of the content. The programme follows England's curriculum.

What about exam season?

Year 11 and Year 13 students may pause from mid-May until their exams finish without losing their place.

What are Accelerators?

Optional weekend bootcamps for Years 10 to 13: Saturday and Sunday, 3 hours each. Exam bootcamps close GCSE and A-Level gaps with marked practice; industry bootcamps teach real-world skills such as web apps, cloud, data, cyber security, AI and IT tools. They usually run in school holidays.

Can you help with my child's A-Level project (NEA)?

We teach the skills. Exam rules mean we cannot write or correct NEA code, and your child should tell their teacher about this support.

Practicalities

How much does it cost?

Weekly classes are [FEE] per six-week block, and each bootcamp is [FEE PER BOOTCAMP]. One scholarship place per group is free for a student eligible for free school meals or a girl new to computing.

Can we cancel?

Online bookings carry a 14-day cancellation right. Full terms are shared before you pay.
